I had worked late at the office and was so engrossed in my work that I neglected to call my wife and tell her I’d be late. When I arrived almost an hour later than usual, I was greeted with a very pleasant smile and “how are you?” On the table and in the oven was a tremendous dinner, a favorite delicacy—frog legs with hot rolls and all the trimmings. Needless to say, everything had been in readiness for my arrival an hour before.
AS if the foregoing was not enough, it became more impressive when I realized my wife had been ill for most of the day. In spite of this, she cleaned the house, took care of the children, shopped for groceries, taught a music lesson, had a hair appointment and did her bit for society by counseling and chauffeuring a lonely and neurotic old lady around for the balance of the day.
Many thanks to Fascinating Womanhood and a loving wife!”
