WOMEN ARE THE GATEKEEPERS OF CIVILIZATION: The Potential Impact of Wives
As the gatekeepers of civilization, women have an incredible power for good or evil on good men. On the positive side, as wives some of our power of influence on our husbands or men in our lives includes:
~ We promote and inspire protectiveness and responsibility and masculinity in men
~ Men are less inclined to be trouble makers—rioting, looting, and terrorism when they have a stable and loving relationship with a wife. They are more likely to turn their attentions to a career and providing for a family.
~ Women are interested more in relationships. As an honorable man feels loved and accepted as he is, it can change his life.
~ A good woman promotes a man’s success in his work—believing in him and looking to his strengths.
~ If a man isn’t married, he tends to have a drive to make money to attract women. He needs a good woman to help him develop deeper parts of his character including real romantic love and the meaning of life.
I recently read a Harvard study that is the longest ever known. It has been going on over 70 years. Its purpose is to determine the one single thing that has the greatest impact on their health, success, and happiness. What they found was startling to some--it was the quality of their relationships.
Women have a special talent in this regard. We are often the key to making or breaking a relationship.
Men are more task-oriented and less patient with the nuances of developing deep lasting unions. Women more often have the patience, love and empathy to believe in a person long enough to influence them to be the best they can be.
Men need someone they can talk to and trust their deepest feelings with. Women excel at this when we learn and understand how to do it.
Women have the ability to focus on and create atmosphere in the home—a satisfying and enjoyable atmosphere that men are drawn to. There they can relax , refuel, and rejuvenate so they can go out and face the world again.
Practicing the principles of Fascinating Womanhood has the feminine power and influence to stabilize not only families, but nations.
